Administrative Assistant to the DeanUIW MissionPosition SummaryThe Administrative Assistant provides essential operational and tactical support to the dean of the Ila Faye Miller School of Nursing and Health Professions (SNHP). The assistant performs duties that are integral to the efficient operation of the school including, but not limited to, tracking of budgetary expenses, coordination of financial processes such as expense reimbursements, payments, and reporting. The assistant coordinates programmatic activities and reporting to all SNHP committees and acts as the school’s liaison to the Office of Provost and other executive committees and external agencies. The assistant is responsible for all administrative support for the Dean of the school and will handle all communication, information flow, internal and external reporting, and other administrative duties for the Dean’s office.This position is considered a “Responsible Employee” under Title IX federal regulations and “Mandatory Reporter” under Texas state law and The UIW Sexual Misconduct Policy. As a Mandatory Reporter this position requires you as the employee to promptly report any incident that you witness or receive information about violating Title IX.
