In partnership with our client, TRC Staffing is actively recruiting for an Onsite Liaison to work hand in hand with their client. We are looking for someone with prior experience working in a medical office. Job Duties include, but are not limited to:Liaison between the client and Convergent Operations Support DepartmentAnswer incoming calls, emails and faxes from Convergent Team Review and process all correspondence related to accounts assigned to Convergent. Including but not limited to, charity applications, change of address, disputes.Account research for Convergent TeamVerify payments via phone calls, fax or emailed requestResearch requests for coding issues and forward to the coders if correction is neededResearch copies of cancelled checks to correct posting errorsResearch misapplied paymentsPrint itemized statement (detailed bill) and mailNotate accounts when information is received or requested from Convergent and or the clientCash and/or credit transfersProcess insurance that needs billed or rebilledMaintain spreadsheet of work done for the week and forward to the Operations Support ManagerThe ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:Excellent customer service skillsMedical billing/up front collections experienceExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to self-manage and self-motivateHighly organized and detail orientedMedical billing/coding certification would be a plusTracking
