The Transition Network (TTN) is a growing national non-profit women’s organization, which is looking for an administrative assistant to support its New York City Chapter remotely. The Transition Network is an inclusive community of professional women, 50 and forward, whose changing life situations lead them to seek new connections, resources and opportunities.Through small group interactions, programs and workshops, members inspire and support each other to continue a life of learning, engagement and leadership in the world.See thetransitionnetwork.orgResponsibilities include:Communicate chapter news and events to members via e-mail blastsCreate and update web pagesManage chapter events by posting events to website and tracking registrationsUpdate chapter dashboard and create reports from data in the dashboardCommunicate with members and prospective members by emailCover for senior administrator as neededQualifications:College degree Must have administrative Assistant experience 1+ years experience with website postingsAbility to learn new web-based platforms and softwareMicrosoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) proficiencyStrong computer skills including Google Mail and Google Docs.Excellent email etiquette and writing skillsStrong proofreading abilityAbility to work independentlyThis is a part-time position, with timely responses required.Approximately 10-12 hours a week- preferably Tuesday and Friday mornings.Salary -$20 hr.Email resume and cover letter to: Please be sure to include your name in the “Subject” line
