The TJX Distribution centers are the hubs of our worldwide logistics operation. Our DC Human Resources team are comprised of problem solvers and specialists who are responsible for payroll, employee relations, talent acquisition, leave of absence and benefits as well as engaging and inspiring associates. Being a Fortune 100 company, and the leading off-price retailer for apparel and home furnishings in the U.S and worldwide, it is essential that our Distribution Centers are running efficiently and effectively to fuel our growing multi-billion dollar business.

The Opportunity:

Provide Benefits orientations to all newly eligible associates (Hourly and exempt).
Supports annual open enrollment process and overview for all associates.
Delivers, monitors, coaches and guides all levels of associates on benefits and Leave of Absence utilization.
Provide answers and resolutions to associate inquiries and questions.
Supports all DC Office associates by administrating and advising all levels of associates on company policies, procedures. Facilitate associate engagement events.
Ensures compliance with state, local and federal laws and company policies. Adherence to record compliance, retention and HRIS system tracking
Provides disciplinary action approval.
Provides full life cycle administration of all DC Leave of absence/ADA administration.
Conducts counseling and recommends resolution to associate/supervisory nonunion issues.
Ensures Open Door, diversity and other values related issues are resolved effectively.
Conducts interventions, fact-finding and resolves conflict as they arise. Counsels and provides referral resources for work-life balance.
May manage non-exempt Regular and Seasonal Human Resources Associates.
Have the desire to work on projects within the department as well as support opportunities to improve efficiencies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience; 2-4 years Generalist experience is preferred.
Experience working with Kronos and Oracle experience is preferred.
Proven ability to work with diverse talent.
Intermediate to advance knowledge of all MS Office Products, especially Excel and Word.
Knowledge of HR/Labor Laws, proven ability to handle confidential information.
Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous settings and help people make decisions and hold them accountable
Approachable and collaborative with candidates and clients.
Ability to manage competing priorities even when there’s too many.
Superb attention to detail.
Proven ability to work and deliver results under pressure.
Bilingual is a plus.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, based on business needs.
