The Bronfman Fellowship, a transformative, immersive and selective program for intellectually curious Jewish teens, is seeking an experienced, multi-skilled professional to join its team as Administrative Assistant to focus data management and maximizing use of the CRM; supporting the work of the Executive Director; and logistical and operational support for events and customer communication and relations.This position is a great opportunity to contribute to this prestigious teen fellowship program and get exposure to nearly all aspects of non-profit administration in a dynamic office and team environment.Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to prioritize and quickly pivot between projects; and equally comfortable working within a team and independently are also highly desirable.The Fellowship selects promising Jewish teens with diverse backgrounds and identities who demonstrate the ability to be cultural creators, deep thinkers, moral voices and community builders.Fellows are encouraged to take pride in the expression of their unique Jewish identities and stories, while recognizing and valuing the distinctiveness of others.The Fellowship includes an immersive summer program, weekend retreats and year round engagement.Since its founding, the Fellowship has developed into a powerful methodology to combat increasing levels of polarization within the Jewish community and the world.The Administrative Assistant position is full-time and based in New York City though currently the team is working remotelyFor more information on The Bronfman Fellowship please visit .Responsibilities:Salesforce Data ManagementoServe as the primary team member responsible for adding and updating information in our salesforce database, and running reports as needed by the teamoSuggest and implement ways to maximize the use of Salesforce for the benefit of specific initiatives and projects and for the team as a wholeExecutive AssistanceoSupport the Executive Director in managing her calendar, handling certain correspondence, and arranging traveloManage the outreach and engagement calendar for large donors and play a key support role in cultivating donor relationshipsFinancial Data Processing oSupport and execute regularly scheduled tasks related to expense and income trackingoCollect receipts for expense reports, input charges into QuickBooks, input donations into Salesforce, and deposit checks at the bankoSend thank you letters for donations and dedicationsGeneral Administrative SupportoRespond to general email and other correspondenceoSupport the Program Coordinator with logistics and events planning responsibilities during busy periodsoExecute mailings including printing and handling and shipping of materialsoAnswer the main phone lineQualifications:Competitive candidates will possess most, if not all, of the following:Relevant work experience with responsibility for administrative office functions and supporting senior professionalsExcellent organizational skills; strong attention to detail, accuracy and timelinessAbility to juggle multiple projects concurrently and work in a fast-paced office and organizational environmentStrong software technology skills and the ability to quickly learn/pick-up new systemsExperience, familiarity and comfort with Salesforce or similar CRM/databasesExperience, familiarity and comfort with QuickBooks or similar accounting softwareStrong ease of use with Gmail, Google Drive, and MS OfficeProfessional and friendly written and verbal communication skillsComfort working independently and as a part of a teamAn openness to learning new thingsInterest in the Jewish community, and an open mind to people with different perspectives and opinionsSalary and Benefits: Projected compensation is $45000 to $60000.Benefits include Health, Dental, Vision, PTO and 401k with employer match.Start date is ASAP.To apply please submit a resume and brief cover note.Tracking
