Job Description:
The Technical Delivery Specialist plays a critical role delivering exception service to our clients but using ITIL processes. The TDS is responsible for shepherding and implementing service requests through a complex environment utilizing ITIL processes and technical skills. This is a remote, full-time position.
Skills/Experience
  • Experience delivering superior quality ITSM
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the field
  • Experience in IT customer service and project coordination
  • Hands on experience and knowledge of core IT concepts
    • IP Addressing, Subnets, DNS
    • VMWare ESX
    • RHEL Linux
    • Windows 2012, 2016 (active directory user & group membership)
    • Ability to modify scripts. (Powershell, Bash, Excel)
    • Ability to troubleshoot
  • Ability to multitask and/or maintain multiple in-flight work efforts within time sensitive parameters
  • Experience with ServiceNow – or similar Change Management / Workflow product
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; a high degree of accuracy is required
  • Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A friendly professional demeanor and ability to excel in a team-oriented environment
Responsibilities
  • Participate in the day-to-day operational support and service delivery of client IT infrastructure by
    • Creating Service Requests (SR)/Change Requests (CR) in ServiceNow
    • Monitoring, responding to, and tracking IT Infrastructure incidents through the workflow product (ServiceNow.)
    • Providing accurate tracking and reporting of SRs, CRs, and incidents
  • Maintain and report on asset inventory
    • Ability to troubleshoot and debug technical issues
    • Ability to implement basic scripts/programs to implement automation
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures
  • Maintain good relations with internal and external clients
  • Onboard, Offboard, and Recertify Team members
Additional Qualifications:
  • Hands on experience in IT skills
  • Knowledge of ESX • CompTIA Certification
  • ITIL Certification
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent customer-facing and management work experience
  • Work hours are typically 8AM-5PM PST with some evening and weekend efforts.
