3PL/Warehouse Integration Specialist


  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand ideal requirements for a 3PL
  • Identify performance gaps of existing 3PL provider & analyze needs in alternative 3PL providers
  • Develop a clear understanding of customer base to identify/propose region(s) for 3PL provider to support current and future requirements
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations (layout, product flow, equipment needs, etc) to cater to different business needs. Identify any special needs in advance.
  • Identify and coordinate key data sets required to create and launch an RFP
  • Coordinate RFP activities and communications with 3PL providers & internal teams
  • Oversee & perform comparative analysis among bid responses, drive selection process, and offer recommendations
  • In depth knowledge of details required in warehouse integration (technical design/build/integration testing)
  • Facilitate clear communication with internal and external stakeholders to drive direction, action items, and decision making throughout integration process
  • Work with internal stakeholders to negotiate terms and cost of contracts with 3PL, and define the right SLAs to ensure the best service is delivered, and cost is under control
  • Develop measurable KPIs to gauge the efficiency of the 3PL
  • Lead transition and integration plan with new 3PL, and be main liaison for implementation
  • Experience with development of written project plans, maintaining schedules, and implementation from beginning to end
  • Works with teams to plan, organize and direct activities concerned with the project. Proactively identify and resolve issues/risks, and a successful track record driving completion of projects and assignments
  • Lead 3PL performance auditing at start of implementation and post implementation date

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years’ experience in operations and have led an RFP and warehouse integration 2-3 times. Beauty background a plus
  • Expert level written and verbal communication skills, ability to cater to audience as needed to explain complex concepts in organized matter
  • Excellent planning and organization skills, detail oriented and excellent reading comprehension
  • Must be able to work well with minimal support in a fast-paced environment
  • Easily adapt to new ideas and can work under pressure & manage deadlines
  • Initiate and maintain communication and relationship with 3PL partners and internal teams to facilitate project activities
  • Anticipates any issues and/or special needs/requirements and recommend solutions that are appropriate for the business
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
