Overview

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for different receptionist and clerical duties at our office. You will assist guests with the check in and check out process of the resort.

As the front-line-employee, your role will be extremely important for improving customer experience and satisfaction. Your goal should always be to make our guests feel comfortable and satisfied while in our office.

Front Desk Agents Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Check-in guests, check-out guests, cashier and give directions and Resort information .
  • Accommodate guests’ before/during/after stay.
  • Listen and assist with guest complaints or pass complaints on to the appropriate person.
  • Answer Front desk and switchboard telephones in a timely and professional manner
  • Can assist with reservations in person and over the phone.
  • Be familiar with the resort and all of its properties.
  • Stay up-to-date on all events happening in the area.
  • Keep the front office area clean and tidy.
  • The front desk is open 24 hours a day and requires that employees keep a flexible schedule to cover all shifts.
  • Works closely with bell service and concierge
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Serve as a liaison between departments.
  • Other tasks to be assigned.

Front Desk Agents Qualifications & Physical Demands:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience on OPERA preferred.
  • Ability to work well with different personality types.
  • Professional and friendly demeanor
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods.
  • While performing the duties of this Job, walk, use hands, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear.
  • Must be able to move objects up to approximately 35 pounds about the workplace safely.
