Responsibilities

As a Statistician on our CX Research Team you will:

  • Work with internal business partners to understand research and measurement needs and develop/execute research efforts to support those needs; research efforts typically involve mining existing data and executing new primary quantitative or qualitative research.
  • Help State Farm build out holistic customer experience measurement framework that links customer experience to the employee experience and drives organization growth and profitability.
  • Mine ongoing customer experience data to help organization focus experience improvement efforts; leverage advanced statistical and data science skills to explain and predict customer behavior.
  • Communicate complex analyses and insights in a simple and actionable way to business partners; develop creative and immersive ways to help business partners take data from insights to action.
  • Collaborate within a fast-paced team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, think outside the box and be willing to fail fast, and constantly focus on developing yourself and your skills.

Qualifications

  • MS degree in research related field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Research, Social Sciences (Industrial/Organizational/Consumer Psychology), Human Centered Design, Design Thinking, Economics, Marketing/Management, etc.) preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in customer insights or customer experience research for either a client or supplier side organization
  • Experience scoping, designing, and conducting quantitative required; qualitative or ethnographic research experience a plus
  • Experience manipulating, analyzing, and modeling structured and unstructured data using tools such as R, SPSS, SAS, or Python; data visualization experience necessary
  • Experience in Customer Experience Management using tools such as Medallia, Qualtrics
  • Skills in design thinking, co-creation, immersion, and consulting a plus

Office Location:

  • Bloomington, IL: Located in the heart of Central Illinois, where our company was founded
  • Dunwoody: Our campus is conveniently located adjacent to the Dunwoody Marta station
  • Preference for candidate to work in one of our two office locations*, but remote work will be considered for the right candidate
