Family Law AttorneyWe are growing and expanding! We are a law firm devoted to family law. We are currently seeking experienced mid-level to senior attorneys who would like to join an established, energetic, intellectually challenging, and team-oriented firm with a minimum of 5+ years of litigation experience and specifically expertise in family law. The lawyer will have a high degree of client contact and the opportunity to build his or her own practice within the firm. We seek a bright and creative professional who is looking for increased responsibility and who wants to grow with our firm with a desire to succeed.For more information about the firm, please check out our website at attorney will be expected to draft pleadings, discovery, motion practice, meet with clients, and handle their own cases and clients provided by the law firm, and handle hearings and trials. The attorney needs to be meticulous and have good attention to detail, dependable, a good work ethic, and great client service. The firm will provide very capable support staff to assist the attorney. We are looking for attorneys to join our firm in all three of our locations — Angleton, Pearland, and Webster, Texas.We believe that the professional development of our attorneys is the responsibility of both the lawyer and the firm. We want our attorneys to be able to provide the best legal services to our clients and continue our reputation of being one of the best law firms in our community. The attorneys will meet regularly to discuss practice development and case strategies as well as any issues or concerns the attorneys may have, including advice on the development of skill areas and/or substantive knowledge.Our compensation system is competitive with all leading firms in our area. In addition to salary, we also have a bonus system based on an associate’s contribution to the firm. The firm recognizes billable hours, community involvement, participation on firm committees, and business development when considering a lawyer’s bonus and salary increase. The firms pays for required continuing education hours and, with approval, any additional courses that directly impact the lawyer’s practice specialization.
