Graphic Designer
Location: Springfield, MO
Pay: $38,000.00 Per Year
Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Job Description:
A high volume sign manufacturer is looking for an experienced Graphics/Production/Fabrication Associate to design, produce and install all types of high quality signage.
He or she will interact with our customers and the public in a courteous and professional manner at all times. The ideal candidate for this position has strong computer knowledge and must be proficient in FlexiSign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. He or She must be willing to learn various other software programs necessary to complete job requirements and must have excellent communication and customer service skills. In addition, he or she must be proficient in basic math and spelling.
The following is a representative list of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position :
-Prepares sign design proofs for customer approval prior to manufacturing
-Designs and produces all types of signs
-Masks, weeds and applies vinyl to various substrates
-Operates sign manufacturing equipment in a safe productive manner
Requirements:
-Sign industry experience (preferred)
-High School diploma or GED required-Strong computer / design skills (Proficient in FlexiSign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop-Sufficient math and spelling skills)
– Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high quality work
– Strong customer service skills and abilities
-Able to manage workload and prioritize multiple projects
-Must demonstrate extreme attention to detail in design / manufacturing work
-Outstanding phone skills
-Prompt, reliable and responsible
-Ability to work and complete tasks independently in a quick turnaround environment
-Ability to work collaboratively
-Effectively manage production schedule and production materials
Experience:
• Sign Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
• FlexiSign: 1 year (Preferred)
Job Requirements:
- Assisting with layout/graphic design
- Produce quality graphic design artwork
- Provide graphic design and meet deadlines
- Serve as technical visual/graphic design expert
