DescriptionWe are in need of a passionate Sales Assistant that is driven to grow their career. This role is a great opportunity for motivated and driven individuals. A Cromwell, Connecticut located company is working with OfficeTeam to fill a Sales Assistant position for a long-term temporary-to-full-time employment opportunity.How you will make an impact- Handling the generation of sales reports and preparations for presentations- Assisting the sales department in promoting company products and services- Providing all other Sales Assistant-related duties as needed- Maintaining kindness and professionalism while interacting with customers to provide superior customer service- Preparing communications and proofreading documents- Handling and coordinating training courses for internal employees- Coordinating orders to ensure process completion- Supporting and participating in trade shows and conventions- Making travel and meeting arrangements- Supporting sales teams by providing administrative, technical and clerical supportRequirements- 1+ years of Sales Assistant experience recommended- Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Program skills- Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment- Preferred education is a BA/BS degree in business, communications, or related field- Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures – Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook- Expertise in Maximize Sales- Adeptness in Sales Calls- Practical knowledge of Sales Proposal- Demonstrated knowledge of Sales Professionals- Comprehensive knowledge of Inbound Sales- Outbound Sales experience- Sales Activity experience highly desired- General familiarity with Sales Quotes- Customer service experience highly preferred- Foundational knowledge in sales- Background working with Superior Customer Service- Excellent social skills, project coordination experience and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as with outside clients and vendorsOfficeTeam, a Robert Half Company, matches professionals in the administrative field with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary and temporary-to-full-time basis.
