DescriptionRobert Half Direct is partnering with a financial services firm seeking a talented and skilled Administrative Coordinator to support the firm’s general business operations and administration. The position will be responsible for assisting the firm’s small team working directly with the firm’s senior partners as well as collaborate with other team members.The Administrative Coordinator will also support multiple functional areas including business operations and administration, investment research assistance, marketing / investor relations, HR, legal and compliance.The is a great introduction to the investment management business and offers an opportunity for rapidly increasing responsibility and career advancement. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of work experience at a professional services firm or other professional environment and should be highly comfortable communicating by phone, email/chat as well as in person.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:+ Provide direct support to the firm’s senior partners as well as overall assistance to research, marketing, and operations team members+ Maintain team calendar and help arrange research and marketing travel and internal meetings+ Assist investment team members with research activities and coordination, including project planning, industry events, meetings, logistics, and travel+ Collaborate with partners and other team members on project-based assignments+ Coordinate outside relationships with consultants, traders, research providers as well as other industry professionals+ Monitor and log all upcoming events within the industry (i.e. industry conferences, corporate events, site visits and marketing opportunities)+ Juggle multiple, high priority issues in a professional, courteous manner on an ongoing daily basis+ Maintain physical / electronic project files, team operational procedures, compliance / regulatory records+ Support operational initiatives across HR, legal, accounting, tax, business planning, regulatory compliance, and office administration+ Thoughtfully organize analytical information+ Manage special, ad-hoc projects for the teamRequirements+ 1-3 years of administrative work experience at a professional services firm or other professional environment+ Bachelor’s degree, Microsoft product suite proficiency (Excel, Word, OneNote, etc.)+ Detail-oriented, organized, and superb time management skills+ Team player with positive attitude and proactive approach to work+ Strong written and verbal communication skills+ Sharp problem-solving skills+ Intellectual curiosity and a desire to work in small, dynamic, and growing firmOfficeTeam, a Robert Half Company, matches professionals in the administrative field with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary and temporary-to-full-time basis.
