DescriptionCommercial Property Management firm is seeking for an Assistant Property Manager to support their VP of Property Management. This is a contract role working onsite in El Segundo. This position is accountable for supporting Property Management and the for the overall management, direction, and coordination of all center operations. The position ensures corporate operations objectives are met or exceeded for NOI growth and rent collection with quality results that consistently improve the profitability of the shopping center and subsequently the investors. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:? Supports Property Managers with management of tenant database.? Timely post and apply cash receipts.? Assist in collecting all billed rents in full and on time.? Create billing adjustments at the direction of the Property Managers.? Process all accounts payable in accordance with corporate procedures.? Maintains communications with tenants. Promotes effective business relationship to conveycorporate operational policies.? Assist Property Managers to ensure compliance with established lease obligations including operatingrequirements, hours of operation and use clause.? Develops understanding of tenant lease and lease obligations.? Ensures compliance with center management operations procedures and applicable governmentregulations. Notifies Property Managers if corrective action is required.? Assists in the compilation and completion of periodic reports in a timely, professional manner.? Executes approved projects in a timely manner – ensures scope accuracy and compliance.? Maintains positive relationship with local community.? Ability to provide interface and cohesiveness with the other departments that impact centermanagement.? Other duties as assignedRequirementsQUALIFICATIONS:• A.A., B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent experience.• 2 years prior management experience, Commercial/Retail desired.• MRI Property Management software experience preferred.• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.• Light bookkeeping background.• Ability to communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, employees and managers regarding centeroperations or personnel issues to ensure the smooth operation of the center.• Ability to analyze budget numbers for conformance to budgetary guidelines.• Must be able to cope with shifting priorities, difficult situations and deadlines.OfficeTeam, a Robert Half Company, matches professionals in the administrative field with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary and temporary-to-full-time basis.
