DescriptionLocation: Seattle, WAIndustry: SaaSTitle: Sr. Director of Finance Salary/Benefit: DOE + Bonus + BenefitsEssential Responsibilities:+ Assist in the development of short, medium, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives and regularly interacts with senior management to ensure objectives are met+ Refine and maintain the company’s long-term financial model+ Evaluate the financial merits of potential acquisitions and partnerships and provide recommendations to senior management+ Provide thought leadership, financial information and analysis on products and professional services to maximize revenue and improve margins+ Articulate findings into high quality end products to facilitate executive decision making+ Participate in all financial activities (such as planning and budgeting cycles) in line with corporate and business requirements+ Partner with the larger organization effectively and gather and analyze information and resolve business issues across the organization+ Other duties as assignedRequirements+ Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in management+ Professional accounting designation (CPA, or similar) a plus+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in accounting or finance+ Ability to discuss concepts in a language understood by engineering but also able to translate that into business terms for other audiences+ Experience supporting software engineering practices a plus+ Proven ability to support an Executive/Senior Vice President of a business unit of scale+ Excellent analytical skills, attention to details+ Extensive background in FP& A and a forward leaning approach to finance+ Outstanding project management and organizational skills+ Ability to thrive in an environment with ambiguity and change+ Demonstrated ability to work well in a cross-functional team+ Self-directed, proactive with ability to manage multiple projects+ Energetic and positive attitude in the face of stress+ Capacity for original thought+ Ability to effectively collaborate with other departments and resources in large, complex business environments+ A strong focus on execution.
