The Senior Accountant is responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This full-time position includes solid compensation, good benefits, and the possibility to grow.Major responsibilities- Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.- Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations- Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting- Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary- Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external- Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP- When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests- Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives- Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting processRequirements- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment- High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills- Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred- Experience in SOX control execution/documentation- Skilled at time management- Margin Analysis experience preferred- Month end closings experience- Command of cost analysis- Solid understanding of Inventory- Deep understanding of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)- Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines- Exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills- Self-starter and strong ethical standards- Skilled with ERP systems- 3+ years of overall general accounting experience- Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required- Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writingRobert Half Finance & Accounting matches skilled professionals with remote or on-site jobs in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, audit, taxation and more on a full-time basis.
