DescriptionClinical Practice: Ensures the effective delivery of competent, compassionate, and efficientpatient care by planning, organizing, and directing the clinical services under therecommendations of the medical director, including? The assessment of patients, implementation of provider recommendations, treatment plans, TMS,other medical procedures, administration of medication and record keeping of same? Monitoring and evaluating patient care processes and outcomes for the patients? Coordinating clinic activities with those of other services or disciplines.? Demonstrating clinical competency in mental health & addiction services.? Role models clinical practice consistent with the organizational and department mission, visionand values.? Communication: Communicates in a clear and effective manner to enhance team effectiveness,manage conflicts, engage employees and interdisciplinary colleagues in center activities andperformance changes. Collaborates with others within the disciplines to enhance problem solving,decision making and performance improvement.? Fiscal Accountability: Plans and forecasts the department budget by calculating required FTES,planning annual budgets, interpreting payroll and other key fiscal reports, projecting workload aswell as monitoring and enhancing productivity. Performs variance analysis by interpretingfinancial performance and identifying key drivers. Identifies center/capital budget needs incollaboration with physician and executive colleagues. Plans and implements staff scheduling,position controls and attendance control procedures.? Human Resources: Directs the personnel management of the employees assigned to thedepartment consistent with state and federal labor laws and center philosophy, goals and policy.Ensures that new staff, students, and interns are interviewed, hired, trained, oriented, preceptedand evaluated. Prepares and conducts employee performance appraisals. Approves transfers,promotions and other decisions affecting employee pay and status. Participates in initiating anddocumenting disciplinary actions and responding to grievances.? Leadership: Assumes responsibility and accountability for the operation of the assigned patientcare service(s), staff, and facilities. Plans, organizes and directs short and long term departmentalactivities in accordance with center’s goals and accrediting organization standards. Providesleadership and direction for the staff while supporting and actualizing the goals of the center.Functions as a resource to staff and interdisciplinary team members and the community, consultson the center’s various medical practices.? Performance Improvement: Assumes responsibility for accessing and utilizing appropriate datain order to monitor center operations. Accountable for achieving patient and staff satisfactiontargets for the organization and unit of responsibility. Develops, implements and evaluatesprocess improvement projects/processes in order to continually monitor and improve patient care.? Professional Development: Facilitates professional development and clinical growth of staff,students, and providers through implementation and maintenance of center specificcompetencies. Promotes and facilitates educational opportunities based on assessment of staffneeds.? Quality Management: Supports the quality framework, which includes both clinical and servicequality indicators. Creates an environment of patient care that is safe, effective, patient centered,timely, efficient and equitable.RequirementsMinimum Qualifications: ? Five (5) or more years of related medical office administrative experience ? Outgoing, well-spoken and possessing excellent customer service skills ? Strong ability to identify, analyze and solve problems ? Proficient in Microsoft Office with exposure to data management software ? Billing software knowledge (EHR) ? Knowledge of CPT, ICD 10, and procedural modifiers ? Follow-up experience with insurance companies and patients for complete claims processing and maximum payment ? Professional appearance Preferred Experience and Qualifications: ? Working in behavioral health and psychology field ? Working knowledge of HIPPA and other medical insurance regulations and terminology ? Experience with operating a medical/mechanical device preferred ? Basic Life Support Certification ? Bachelor’s degree ?
