Operating as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Apply today or call Emily Whalen at for more information!Major responsibilities- Administer monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP- Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)- Participate in various department-wide initiatives- Organize quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors- Arrange monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting- Achieve compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners- Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process- Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations- Complete other projects as requiredRequirements- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must- Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required- Experience in SOX control execution/documentation- Competence with financial data analysis and report generation that is prompt and accurate- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment- Top notch analytical, quantitative and social skills- Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision- Ability to work well with functional department managers- Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines- Proficiency in year end closings- Commissions accounting experience highly desired- Adeptness in auditing- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel- Cash reconciliations experience preferred- Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience- If you are proficient with financial reporting systems, you could be a good fit for this position- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desiredAccountemps, a Robert Half Company, matches skilled accounting and finance professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
