Iron Crest National Title (A REX company) is seeking an experienced Title Officer to join our rapidly growing team. The right candidate is someone who: works well in a collaborative environment; pays close attention to detail; is systems and process-oriented; possesses strong interpersonal communication skills; and has a healthy appreciation for sarcasm.

What You’ll Do:

  • Review preliminary title reports to determine insurability and adherence to underwriting requirements
  • Prepare title reports, CPLs and final title policies
  • Work with our underwriters and clients for title curative
  • Review and approve a variety of documentation including deeds, operating agreements, trusts, wills, corporate resolutions, partnership agreements, Articles of Organization, etc.
  • Manage title files from start to finish
  • Determine appropriate title insurance rates, endorsements and policy forms to use for each transaction.
  • Proof all recordable documents and submit for timely recording
  • Take ownership for daily tasks for front-end processing

What You Need:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with a title company in California
  • Strong technical acumen
  • The ability to work independently
  • A high degree of organization
  • Knowledge of current California Title Insurance rules and regulations
  • Proficiency with Qualia
  • Fluency with the Microsoft Office Suite
