Property and casualty insurance company in the Forney area is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant to support their brand new office. Location: Hwy 80 Pay rate: $20-21 Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, will work 50% in office and 50% remote Summary: The administrative assistant provides support for the office staff. The person in this role plays an important part in ensuring the office staff has the necessary tools and information to successfully perform their role in the company. As the first point of contact for many outside of our organization, this individual will be pleasant and accommodating. Essential Functions: Schedule appointments and meetings Schedule travel arrangements Enter and process expense reports using Concur Type correspondence, itineraries, presentations Print, photocopy, bind and distribute all of the above as necessary Send and distribute e-faxes Ensure office is presentable prior to meetings with outside individuals Arrange lunch for meetings – order, pick up or have delivered, make reservations, etc. Order and stock office and kitchen supplies Reconcile office and kitchen supply invoices Other duties as assigned Education: High School Diploma Some college preferred Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in an administrative role Proficient in all Microsoft Office products Prior experience using expense report software, preferably Concur Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as a member of a team Excellent organizational, planning and communication skills Positive teamwork and interpersonal skillsTracking
