Resetting the Table seeks a highly motivated Administrative and Communications Associate to join our dynamic, mission-driven team. RTT is dedicated to strengthening democracy by equipping leaders and communities with tools for building collaborative deliberation across political silos in American life. RTT has brought more than 30,000 community leaders and members together for dialogue and deliberation across political divides, many of them clergy, educators, journalists, and other societal conveners positioned to make far-reaching culture change. RTTs origins were focused on divides surrounding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the American Jewish community, and RTT continues to do extensive work on that conflict as well as around other fault-line red/blue/purple and rural/urban divides in the U.S. In the face of a historically contentious presidential election, racial reckoning, and public health crisis, RTT faces unprecedented demand for our training, facilitation, and programming in courageous conversation and inquiry across political divides.Responsibilities:Office and Virtual Systems Management, Human Resources, and FinanceWork closely with Comptroller on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties, including invoicing partner organizations, tracking program fees, processing reimbursements, tracking outgoing payments to vendors, and applying financial codesSupport HR matters, including ongoing record keepingManage office systems and maintain internal calendars and materials on Dropbox and Google DriveTroubleshoot IT issuesMaintain office supplies (when we return to physical offices)CommunicationsProvide support creating digital materials using graphic design templates and platforms such as Canva social media graphics, Mailchimp digital flyers, PowerPoint slides, etc.Manage visual library of photos, videos, and other mediaMaintain database and website calendarsProgramsAssist Program Coordinator with preparation of program materials and supplies, as neededAssist with technological components of virtual programsProvide logistical support, including space rentals, catering, and travel arrangements (when in-person programming resumes)Requirements:Bachelors Degree and commensurate experience of at least 2 yearsFluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Zoom, and G Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.)Exceptional time management, organizational skills and work ethic with careful attention to accuracy, timeliness, and detailthis role is about keeping people and systems organized!Willingness to learn RTTs website management and database systemsAbility to manage multiple priorities and take initiative to move projects forwardAbility to maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentialityComfort working both collaboratively and independently across time zones, with a spirit of helpfulnessStrong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to interface with a variety of audiencesEmbrace of Resetting the Tables mission and methodologyPreferred, but not required:An eye for design: you care about style, aesthetic, and beautifying visual materialsGraphic design experience, including work with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Mailchimp, and CanvaExperience with Little Green Light or similar constituent relationship management systemsExperience with website management using software tools, such as WordPressInterest in non-profit management, conflict transformation, and/or politicsLocation: This role is currently remote with a preference for candidates who will work from our NYC, Boston, or San Francisco Bay Area offices when COVID-related concerns can be safely managed. We are open to a long-term, remote employee for the right candidate.Schedule: This position is full-time. We are open to part-time arrangements (24+ hours per week) for the right candidate.Salary: Resetting the Table offers a competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
