Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Employee Relations
  • Assist the HR team with Benefit open enrollment, go over benefits questions with employees
  • Manage all Leave of Absences in accordance to HR law and company policy and procedures
  • Manage the onboarding process for operational requisitions; process new hire forms, enter into system, E-verify, ensure new employee is prepared and informed
  • Assist with Workers Compensation claims
  • Assist with scheduling meetings between departments and with vendors
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of HR and other HR executives
  • May also be asked to aid other departments within Human Resources as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, HR or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in HR roles with knowledge of current California HR laws, preference for background with a mid-large sized company
  • Bilingual Englist/Spanish is required
  • Benefits and LOA experience
  • Experience working with HRIS systems
  • Outstanding customer service experience in dealing with all employees and outside contacts
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information respectfully
