About Us:We design and maintain comprehensive estate plans and administer trusts and estates.We providie high-quality service and peace of mind to our clients and their loved ones.About You:You love interacting with people and making a difference in their lives.You are instantly likable, confident but humble and establish rapport effortlessly.You have outstanding computer skills and are not afraid to learn new software programs.You are comfortable organizing, analyzing and summarizing financial information, drafting estate plans, processing multi-step assignments, communicating with clients and following up on casework.You can anticipate problems and issues and exercise sound independent judgment.You easily comprehend new instructions and information and enjoy your role in the progression of the workflow.About the Opportunity:Prepare and develop a working knowledge of all estate planning documents including Last Wills and Testament, Revocable Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, Durable Powers of Attorney, Health Care Proxies, Deeds, Realty Trusts, Trustee Certificates, Life Estate Calculations, Change of Beneficiary Forms, Engagement Letters, Grantor Trust Letters, Funding Instructions, Final Billing Letters and Final Summary Letters.Prepare and develop a working knowledge of all estate and trust administration forms and procedures involved in a Voluntary, Informal and Formal Probate including a working knowledge of the MUPC and MUTC procedural guides.Communicate with clients, financial institutions, registries, courts and other related parties by phone, email and correspondence to address inquiries and casework after research, review and communication with the attorney.Prepare comprehensive case summaries to forecast and meet case deadlines independently.Organize and understand client financial records to develop an accurate detailed accounting for case settlement and state filings.Present a professional and friendly demeanor to clients, develop rapport, gather information and review documentation for signature.Witness/notarize signing of documents, stamp/seal, finalize, summarize, upload, deliver casework with a review of next steps and follow up to the completion of all outstanding tasks.Create new file folders (electronic and hardcopy), copy, scan, file, organize/analyze/summarize client information to develop a working knowledge of client facts and legal issues sufficient to productively work the case with the attorney and become the client contact.Perform data entry of client, calendar, task, billing, and accounting information.Manage workflow, tasks and client information effectively to address shifting priorities and bring each case to a successful and timely conclusion.Maintain daily billing records in compliance with PYWL standards.Maintain sufficient billable hours to meet weekly and monthly targets.Present information to client, registry, court, DOR, MassHealth or referral source.Participate in new client development, creation of marketing/educational materials and building opportunities for growth and improvement of the firm.About Your Experience:You have a Bachelors degree.You have 1-3 years of professional work experience.You have a high level of proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.You have excellent technology skills and the ability to navigate software programs.About the Compensation/Benefits:Starting salary range is between $45,000-55,000 based on experience with quarterly performance reviews to determine salary increases based on billing.Benefits include health and dental benefits starting on the 1st of the month after hire.PTO accrues at a rate of one day per month of employment for a total of two weeks of paid time off (including sick, personal and vacation) per year.Tracking
