Weekend Shipping Loader FULL-TIME
1. Receives product into the Cooler areas.
A. Verifies product entering the cooler is packaged, stacked, and sorted to QA standards.
B. Scans all product into inventory.
C. Places a master pallet marker to each pallet.
2. Moves received product from the stack off areas to the cooler.
A. Using pallet jack moves stacked, sorted, and scanned product from the stack off areas to the cooler.
B. Verifies scanned accuracy as moved to cooler.
C. Supplies stack off areas with pallets and dry ice.
3. Loads and unloads trailers.
A. Loads and unloads pallets on trailer based on assigned orders from sales and distribution.
B. Documents product loaded on a load diagram and ensures these two agree to prevent manifest errors.
C. Ensures trailers are loaded in an alternate “T” according to Perdue standards to prevent overweight axle limits.
D. Unloads product and supplies for other areas of plant operation.
4. Maintain Safety, Housekeeping, and Quality Standards
A. Follow all safety requirements including proper use of personal protective equipment.
B. Maintain clean and uncluttered work areas.
C. Follow all USDA and Perdue Quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practices.
D. Notifies supervisor of any machine or process conditions that are or may be affecting production, quality, safety, or sanitation standards.
5. Performs other job related duties and assignments as needed.
A. Temporary transfer to other Further II areas (Box Room, WPL, 28 Degree Room) as needed for job rotation, training, and/or replacement.
B. Perform other reasonable job related duties and activities as directed by supervisor or management.

Shift start: 7:00AM
Shift length: 12 hours
Friday-Sunday Schedule. 7am to 7pm with potential to work over each day. Pay incentive if less than 40 hours are worked.
