An exciting opportunity to be a member of our team at Orchard Pointe Assisted Living & Memory Support in Glendale, AZ. We are seeking Certified Caregivers & Medication Techs for the memory support team.

The primary role of our Certified Caregiver/ Med Tech at Heritage Communities is centered support and assistance to residents allowing them to enjoy their highest level of independence while receiving the necessary care and service to meet their changing needs.

The CareStaff at Heritage Communities provides resident care services and administration of medications which includes charting, reporting and monitoring resident’s condition. These associates require a Certified Nurse Assistant/Aides and Certified Medication Aides in addition to their responsibilities.

Certified Caregiver/ Med Tech Full Time 2:00pm-10:00pm and 10:00pm-6:00am.

Duties:

  • Answer call lights promptly and care for residents’ needs.
  • Strive to help residents become and stay as independent as possible.
  • Perform duties in accordance with policies and procedures initiated by the community.
  • Medication Tech will pass medicine according to policy and procedures of the community.
  • Chart appropriately on each resident as necessary.
  • Assists any resident with care as directed by resident’s individual service plan.

    Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be a Certified Caregiver and/or Medication Aide according to state regulation.
  • Must have current First Aid, CPR and Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Must demonstrate compassion for seniors.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • May be required to obtain Food Handler card.
