Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking an Earned Value Management System Lead to join our growing team of diverse professionals. The preferred work location for this individual is McLean, Virginia, though occasional telework with regular travel to a sector office will also be considered. Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Partners with Program Managers (PMs), Control Account Managers (CAMs), and Business Management teams (Business Managers, Schedulers, Program Cost Analysts (PCAs)) within each division to ensure program compliance with CTM F300 – OneNG Corporate Earned Value Management (EVM) System Description and associated policies and procedures, as well as the EIA-748, Earned Value Management Systems 32 Guidelines
Corporate EVM Working Group Sector Focal Representative and Initiative Team Support
Sector EVM Focal Point/Liaison for all divisions
Supports maintenance of CTM F300, EVM policies and procedures and EVM training Initiatives
Provides EVM Program Startup support of new awards
Provides temporary PCA support to off-set attrition
Supports Internal Surveillance, Compliance Reviews, Joint Surveillance, and Integrated Baseline Reviews

Basic Qualifications:
Must have one of the following:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field with a minimum of 15 years of business management, compliance, or related experience
Master’s degree in business management or related field with a minimum of 13 years of business management, compliance, or related experience
Advanced knowledge and experience on program(s) with a contractual Earned Value Management (EVM) requirement (i.e. FAR, DFARs or IC)
Advanced understanding of the application of EVM Cost/Schedule principles; policies and procedures
Strong understanding and working knowledge of EIA-748 Guidelines, DOD EVMSIG, IPMR and CFSR
Possess a strong working knowledge of many of the following (or similar): COBRA, Micro-Frame Program Manager (MPM), wInsight, System Application & Products (SAP), Microsoft Project, and MS Office Suite
Prior experience preparing and presenting EVM data/metrics within all levels of management
Prior experience delivering EVM Training
Basic knowledge of EVM Scheduling concepts and application
Knowledge and experience with DCMA EVMID, JSRs, IBRs, and Internal Surveillance.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time
Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Current active Secret Clearance
Experience conducting Internal Surveillance and/or supporting the following: DCMA Compliance Reviews, supporting DCMA JSRs, supporting DCAA Audits, D&T Audits and Corporate Internal Audits.
Ability to handle working independently with little instruction
Ability to prioritize work assignments and complete goals with minimal direction
Proactive work style – self-motivated
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Demonstrated ability to work and present to internal and external customers (i.e. senior leadership, functional and division organizations)
