NG Space Systems – Propulsion Systems is currently seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler for our Demand Planning team supporting several locations within the Flight Systems but home location would be the Promontory (Brigham), UT facility. Role description & Responsibilities: • Works in MRP Systems • Coordinates production schedules along with ensuring materials, and planning are available for production. • Status schedules in MS Project. • Advises management and master scheduler of production status and escalate problems to ensure labor, tools, equipment, and services are provided as needed. • Coordinates with other internal departments to ensure the movement of parts are timely. • Works with support functions to ensure supporting documents are available before production • Coordination of product movement across the value stream Job Duties: • Works in MRP Systems and understand demand planning • Executes to production schedules • Ensure materials, and planning are available for production. • Understanding product movement • Status schedules in MS Project. • Advises management and master scheduler of production status and escalate problems to ensure labor, tools, equipment, and services are provided as needed. • Coordinates with other internal departments to ensure the movement of parts are timely. • Works with support functions to ensure supporting documents are available before production • Coordination of product movement across the value stream • Capacity planning, (level loading, Kanban) • MS Excel

Basic Qualifications
BS degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related degree and 6 years of experience. 4 additional years of experience can be substituted for the degree requirement.
Knowledge and experience working in MRP Systems
Working knowledge of manufacturing, quality basics, engineering flows,
Understanding production schedules
Applicable experience of lean principles
Experience tracking, reporting and presenting status to leadership
