Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our Marine Systems team as an Operations Program Manager 2 based out of Sunnyvale, CA, which is a historical campus. Marine Systems specializes in the development, manufacturing, assembly and testing of missile launching and handling systems, propulsion and power generation systems for naval surface ships and submarines. Our products are built nowhere else in the country. What You’ll Get To Do: Work closely with the Program Manager and Manufacturing Operations functional management, this individual will be responsible for execution of the manufacturing scope of a multimillion dollar Propulsion and Power Generation program. You will be the single point of contact within manufacturing leadership for the program. Other responsibilities include:
Resolve manufacturing issues by working with cross functional teams.
Coordinate responses with functional organizations to keep project on schedule.
Propose, plan/baseline, and execute to performance management baseline.
Perform risk and opportunity management functions for the manufacturing scope in concert with the overall program RSKOM.
Manage EVMS and cost account management functions.
Mentor and guide functional CAMs within operations.
Manage up to 1 individual contributors.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with 7+ years of experience.
Experience presenting to senior management (director level and above).
Experience facilitating meetings.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Fluent with MS Office products – PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Word.
U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
Program/Project Management experience in a D.O.D. environment.
3+ years of Program/Project Managment experience.
PMP certification.
Current active Secret Clearance or higher.
Experience with SAP or ERP System in a low volume, high mix manufacturing environment.
Experience in Earned Value Management.
