Northrop Grumman’s corporate Government Compliance, Budgeting & Forward Pricing team is seeking a manager of a government compliance to lead a team of professionals responsible for ensuring compliance of FAR, DFARS and Cost Accounting Practices; reporting to the director, Government Compliance & Incurred Cost, the successful candidate should possess a deep understanding of FAR/CAS compliance and possess the instincts, drive and judgement to interface with senior leaders across the company and audit community.

Specific responsibilities include:
Monitors changes to FAR/DFAR/CAS & Other pertinent regulations
Drafts compliance guidance to be used to educate and train as necessary
Reviews and compiles Business Systems self-assessments for management review
Performs Business Systems Oversight across Corporate & Sectors to ensure compliance & audit readiness
Review of Cost Accounting Practice changes to ensure compliance
Prepare Cost Impact Analysis as required to support Cost Accounting Practice changes
Perform periodic reviews of Disclosure Statements to ensure adequacy and compliance
Support DCAA audits of Disclosure Statements, Cost Impacts, Business Systems & Other compliance Areas
Writes White Papers in areas of FAR/DFARS/CAS where questions are being asked that require research and recommendations to management for action
Provides training in the areas of FAR/DFARS/CAS/Business Systems

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 7+ years of directly applicable experience
Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS/CAS regulations

Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Significant Experience Working Supporting DCAA Audits
