Join the Space revolution and make the impossible, possibleNorthrop Grumman, Strategic Space Systems Division, has an opening for a Logistics Support to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the Materials, Manufacturing, Test, Integration & Launch (M2IT&L) Directorate at the Redondo Beach Campus.
Responsible for supporting Area Manager with day-to-day operations on the floor for minimum level of compliance
Provide support to the logistics function
Be a self-starter able to work in a fast paced environment and have the ability to quickly shift from to another task another
Ability to self-time manage working toward timely completion of assigned tasks
Ability to document and perform annual updates and audits
Support area management teams in very dynamic highbays/labs throughout M2IT&L
Maintain inventory and supply of shelf life material, required consumables, supplies, etc.
Support tool calibration for manufacturing and I&T labs; and prepare logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment, and related manuals to be deployed and stocked
Modify maintenance records such as repair standards for more complex equipment or components
Track logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities
Review configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment
Ability to assist with routine audits, safety protocol, cleanliness standards, maintenance of established environmental controls/logs
Assist with hazardous material (HazMat) waste and property disposal
Ensures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing constraints
Support inventory of chemicals, materials, equipment, etc.
Support equipment maintenance and suppler coordination

Ability to communicate clearly and successfully
Strong interpersonal communication skills, including ability to interface and communicate with a wide cross section of highly motivated individuals from technical to non-technical including all skillsets and disciplines

Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent, and 2 years additional education and/or related experience in one or more of the following: logistics, coordination, or facilitation
Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret or SCI Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting Area Management in Manufacturing or Integration and Test cleanroom facilities/highbays
Proficient with SharePoint sites
Familiarity with navigating NG systems or tools (SAP, iBUY, CPATS, CCOM, ENOVIA, AssetSmart, TEAMMS, Solumina, etc.)
Active SCI Clearance and/or DoD Top Secret
