Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to lead the AVE Verification team. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the verification and qualification activities for AVE which includes but is not limited to:
Working with stakeholders and team members across AVE (i.e. AVE I&T) to develop and execute detailed verification plans
Includes collaborating with the AVE RVAM team to ensure verification planning is captured appropriately and in a self-consistent manner in the RVAM.
Leads the execution of AVE verification activities and qualification activities
Collaborates with AVE Requirements Lead to ensure verification plans / methods / levels in the AVE Specification are acceptable
Develops verification artifacts for to support the AVE Requirements Lead.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. UTSpace GBSDJobs

You’ll bring these qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in STEM with minimum of 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors in Science; 7 years with Masters; 4 years with PhD
US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years)
These qualifications would be nice to have:
Active Top Secret Security Clearance
5+ years of ICBM experience
