Northrop Grumman Space Systems – Launch and Missile Defense Systems division is seeking a Director of Business Management, supporting our Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) Program. This position can be located in either Chandler, Arizona or Huntsville, Alabama, but candidate must be able to travel semi regularly between the two locations. Position will be contingent upon successful contract award, currently anticipated between February and April 2021. Within Launch & Missile Defense Systems Division, the Launch Vehicles Business Unit is responsible for the technical and program management associated with design, procurement, manufacture, integration, test, operation and servicing of a wide range of aerospace components, subsystems, systems and services. Including, but not limited to: Launch Vehicles, Target Vehicles for missile defense and Support Services for Commercial, Defense and Government / Civil customers. The NGI program is responsible for Prime contract management, integration and execution to develop an advanced interceptor booster, kill vehicle and ground support system to meet emerging intercontinental ballistic missile threats against the United States. The program will manage the design, procurement, manufacture, integration, test, operation and servicing of all aerospace components, subsystems, systems and services. This procurement is designated as a major defense acquisition program by the U.S. Department of Defense and is in support of the Missile Defense Agency. Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible for all NGI program Business Management related activities: overall program finance strategy & execution.
Interfacing with the government customer and at the business unit, division, and sector level consistently in a professional and organized manner and with internal and external business partners while functioning in an environment characterized by frequently changing priorities.
Analyzing complex requests or issues.
Working closely with various functions in a matrixed organization to provide relevant, accurate and timely financial data.
Leading the Business Management team (managers and analysts) to support Program Finance objectives across the business unit providing leadership, vision, development, and accountability to all key stake holders.
Developing Operating Plan and Forecast information in a large business environment that operates a business rhythm supporting monthly/quarterly/annual close cycles.
Overseeing EVMS management, controls and reporting.
Supporting SOX Compliance, Internal/External Audit activities, Company compliance requirements.
Analyzing large commercial and/or Government contracts with experience in a manufacturing environment.
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement with a focus on internal and external customer service excellence.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance Accounting or a related discipline with 10+ years directly related work experience.
Experience supporting SOX compliance, Internal/External audit activities and corporate compliance requirements.
Extensive experience with program finance and accounting, overhead/forward pricing rate development, EAC management and a strong understanding long-term contract revenue recognition.
Ability to effectively lead large diverse teams, across multiple locations.
Strong financial leadership and analytical skills and experience presenting financial information to all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated understanding of underlying government procurement regulations, including FAR and CAS.
Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree or certification in a related discipline preferred.
Current, active Secret Clearance.
CPA preferred.
