Job Summary:
Performs a variety of duties to receive, distribute, assemble and store finished goods into sales warehouse or customer locations as directed. Will also perform materials receipt, disbursement and related activities as directed.

Picks finished goods throughout the warehouse as required by sales order ship lists.
Uses miscellaneous material handling equipment (dollies, pallet jack, forklift) to move materials.
Pulls materials for Manufacturing shop orders.
Return materials for Manufacturing shop orders.

Processes goods supplies including unpacking, verifying, labeling, and distributing to appropriate location. Answer door and receive deliveries.
Perform work tasks and operations in compliance with all safety and environmental rules and regulations; if uncertain, consult supervisor.
Makes inquiries of inventory to ensure adequate supplies are on hand.
Assist Materials Management personnel with the preparation and loading of shipments of finished goods (gel cards and diluents).
Assists in other related material handling activities including maintaining proper documentation of all incoming and outgoing materials and keeping physical inventories.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Performs physical inventories and cycle counts.

Ability to read and write English.
Ability to read and understand departmental and safety procedures.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Ability to move pallets and materials using proper lifting techniques.
Complies with mandatory OCD training requirements.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills in Material Control and Shipping and Receiving that are necessary to perform position effectively.
Ability to use manual pallet jack and motorized forklift appropriately and safely.
Familiarity with 21CFR Part 820 (FDA Regulations), cGMPs, ISO 9001 standards and EHS Management System.
Ability to effectively communicate, demonstrate a sense of urgency, and responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work

Desired competencies:
Knowledge of Quality Information Systems (TrackWise, OTIS).
Computer literacy with ability to use MS Word and Excel.
Ability to use several different purchasing and inventory control computer systems such as ARIBA, SAGE 50 and SAP.
License to drive forklift

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (e.g., GED)
