Job in a Nutshell:

The Warehouse Coordinator position is responsible for providing support in the various areas of the Natural Grocers Distribution Center in Golden. This position will assist with receiving and put away of products; process and distribute orders for picking crew; perform cycle counts, arrange and setup storage for new products, provide vacation relief, and assist in any other areas needed. The WH Coordinator must be fully trained in all warehouse functions to perform all duties required of these positions. This position works as part of an interdepartmental team with warehouse, production, shipping, receiving, purchasing, and NGVC stores.

Responsibilities:

Main Ingredients:

Processes purchase orders in SAP; distributes orders to picking team for shift start up
Records and communicates bulk finish goods shortages for the day
Runs SAP replenishment orders for bulk finish goods; performs FG stocking for bulk
Processes and picks special orders of large bulk bags as needed
Performs all receiving duties for bulk herbs and spices
Assists with bulk raw material receiving, including product sorting, receiving and put away
Coordinates inbound container loads and storage for grocery dept.
Assists with large plus-out orders for store special events
Provides back-up support for production staging and put-away tasks
Assists inventory manager and others with traceability as needed
Sets up storage bins for new products in Grocery and Vitamin depts
Participates in DC inventories and cycle counts as necessary
Assists with segregating, tracking, and inspecting quality holds and product recalls
Assists shipping dept as needed with outbound pallet preparation and tracking
Assists with sorting and loading recycle pallets and recycle bales
Participates as member of the Materials Review Board at the DC
Maintains professional and partnering relationships and exceptional communications with NGVC staff members
Performs any other duties assigned by management

Qualifications:

Recipe for Success:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
Minimum 3 years inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment required
Experience in food manufacturing environment preferred, with knowledge of cGMP’s and food safety compliance
Experience in SAP required, using multiple applications in various roles
Strong knowledge of receiving and general warehouse functions
Strong mathematical, communication and organizational skills required
Proficient in MS Excel working with spreadsheets, formulas and reporting required
Ability to work effectively among all related departments to create positive results
Forklift experience required; must have ability to operate standard sit-down lift, extended reach truck, riding pallet jack, order picker, and scissor lifts
