Overview:

The role of the Greeter is to provide excellent customer service to Natural Grocers customers. The Greeter will greet customers as they enter and leave the store, encourage customers to wear a mask or face protection when shopping with us, thank customers for shopping with us as they exit the store and clean used shopping carts and hand baskets.

Responsibilities:
Provide world class customer service to all customers
Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store
Provide customers general direction to product and department location
Answer customer questions or direct them to someone who can
Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits or able to ask for assistance from management
General cleaning and sanitization of shopping carts, hand baskets and all other required cleaning procedures
Alert store management to issues at the front-end of the store

Although this is a general outline of job responsibilities all employees are expected to be “hands on” and do whatever it takes to get the job done and make the company thrive.

Qualifications:
Prior customer service experience preferred
Must have friendly and kind approach to customer service
Ability and willingness to ask customers to wear a mask when shopping with us
Ability to work at front-end of the store in varying temperatures
Attentive and assertive
Flexible schedule
