Job DescriptionTITLE: Administrative/Intake LieutenantLOCATION: Guantanamo Bay, CubaDURATION: Full TimeTRAVEL: NoneSCHEDULE: Must be flexible to work holidays, weekends and multiple shift optionsMVM, Inc. is seeking qualified full-time Administrative/Intake Lieutenant at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba Naval Station to process all new and incoming migrants and provide a range of administrative services. This position reports to the Deputy Program Manager.Essential Function & Responsibilities:Coordinate paperwork and undetermined migrant interviewsProcess all new and incoming migrantsCompile and maintain all intake files ensuring compliance with ICE documentationMaintain spreadsheet of all migrants undetermined and protectedMaintain all equipment necessary to effect proper transfer of new and incoming migrants from the US Coast Guard (Cubans Interdicted at Sea)Maintain all equipment necessary to effect proper transfer of new and incoming migrants from the US Marine Corps and naval Station walk-onsFacilitate the repatriation of all migrants as established by the US Marine Corps and the Naval StationPrepare for Spanish/English translation as directedProficient with all forms necessary for all undetermined migrantsMaintain inventory of hurricane locker, to include MREs, emergency equipment, etc.Review daily documentation for errors and correctionCreate and modify various documents using Microsoft OfficeProvide shift coverage in the absence of shift supervisorsEstablish and maintain a working relationship with local military and security personnel involved with Migrant OperationsSupervise security supervisorsMinimum Qualifications & Skills:Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent (GED)Must be able to speak, read, write and effectively communicate in English under normal and stressful conditionsMinimum of three (3) years experience in public or private security, law enforcement or U.S. Military related field;Minimum of one (1) year experience as a supervisor/manager in any field.Must be a United States Citizen who has resided in the United States for at least three (3) of the last five (5) yearsMust be 21 years of age;Must possess a valid U.S. Passport;Must have a valid Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration;Possess strong verbal and written English communication skillsPreferred Qualifications: Ability to greet the public and deal tactfully with the public;Capable of understanding and applying written and verbalorders, rules and regulation provided in English;Must be literate and able to fully communicate and interpret written rules, regulations, detailed written orders, training instructions and materials in English; and can compose reports;Requires good judgment, courage, alertness, an even temperament, and an ability to render satisfactory performance thorough knowledge of his/her position responsibilities; andAbility to maintain poise and self-control during situations that involve mental stress.For more information about the company please visit our website at is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.Tracking
