In service of that mission, in 2021 and beyond, MoveOn will drive impactful, movement-connected, multichannel, nimble campaigns aimed at impact.We are looking for a dynamic individual with great self-starter and interpersonal skills to support our work during our fast-paced election hiring surge and beyond. The position requires a person who is well organized, detail oriented, and self motivated. We are looking for someone who has knowledge of or is excited by and able to learn new operations systems such as Paychex, Zoom, Slack, Word, Excel, and other related programs.Responsibilities:Provide support to staff with general administrative, benefits-related, and HR-related questions.Support onboarding and offboarding of our regular staff and temporary hires.Collaborate with various vendors in scheduling staff trainings and webinars and facilitating communications.Help facilitate staff health & wellness initiatives.Maintain personnel records and support with HR-related communications.Support with accounts payable processes such as reviewing and submitting invoices for payment.Assist in gathering corporate credit receipts and backup documentation for expense reports.Assist in maintaining staff equipment inventory and ordering office supplies.Assist with other administrative projects as needed.A successful candidate willHave experience and/or interest in Human Resources & Administrative processes and systems,with previous experience of at least one role (min. three months) in this area.Have strong writing and communication skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively across platforms, including email, Slack, and Zoom.Be comfortable with technology and flexible when dealing with individuals with varying degrees of tech savviness.Have experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and staff onboarding platforms.Required skills and experience:Organized with clear attention to detail.Autonomous and creative with great interpersonal skills.Comfort working with cloud-based applications, systems, and databases.Some experience in operations/HR-related work is a plus.Reports to: Director of AdministrationLocation: Position may be based anywhere in the continental United States.Classification, Salary, and Benefits: Part-time (up to 15 hours per week), $25 per hour, and $175 monthly toward cost of cell phone, internet, and office expenses; home office subsidy also provided.MoveOn.org Civic Action and MoveOn.org Political Action provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.Tracking
