Overview

The Department of Fine Arts at Misericordia University (Dallas, PA) is now accepting applications for its adjunct professor candidate pool. Anticipated openings beginning Fall 2021 include the following areas:

  • Studio Art [in person only]. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of a master’s degree in Fine Arts (or a closely related field) and prior experience teaching at the undergraduate level.
  • Core Courses in Fine Arts [in person, hybrid, and/or online instruction]. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of a master’s degree in one of the three fields of study offered in the department: visual arts, film, and music. ABD/PhD preferred. Prior experience teaching at the undergraduate level required. Representative courses include: Music and Gender; Music and Popular Culture; Global Contemporary Art; Art Historical Methods; Introduction to Film Studies; and others.
