One of the largest skilled trades companies in Northeast Ohio, Northwestern Pennsylvania, and Western New York is looking to fill a new Operations Manager position in our expanding organization. The Operations Manager will report directly to the company President and will assist with and/or oversee:

  • New and current customer, employee, vender, and business relationships
  • Talent acquisition, hiring, and retention of staff members and service technicians
  • Company expansion and growth efforts (occasional travel)
  • Digital and traditional marketing campaigns
  • IT systems and platforms to maintain and improve communication and logistics
  • Regular HR projects
  • Conflict resolution issues (internal or external)
  • Accounts Receivable and collections
  • Service and product sales programs
  • Annual inventory control and management
  • Community engagement and philanthropic initiatives
  • Improving processes and workflow efficiency
  • Technical and operational support as needed by other departments
  • Key responsibilities vital to the success of the organization

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, qualifications, and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, organizational studies & project management, or a related field; MBA a plus
  • 3+ years experience leading a team or department
  • 5+ years project management experience
  • 2+ years marketing/sales experience
  • Demonstrated history of being a valued contributor to a company
  • Tech and online savviness
  • Strong work ethic and ownership of your responsibilities
  • Empathetic, perceptive listening and effective communication skills
  • Self-awareness and ability to “fit in” to any situation
  • Lead by example with no task being beneath you
  • Work smart and hard to make the best use of your time
  • High attention to detail but can see the forest through the trees
  • Drive and passion to constantly be improving, innovating, and growing (never complacent)
  • Knowledge of the home services/skilled trades industry a plus
  • Service mindset where your job is to make sure everyone has what they need to do their job
