Long-Term Healthcare – Our Nursing Home in New Britain, Conneticut, is currently looking to hire an experienced and energetic Business Office Manager (BOM).Responsibilities: Assures accurate data entry of client information, record and tie out census daily. Identify and process accounts that are aging and work closely with Corporate Billing Office for collections. Communicate with residents and their families regarding their bills and outstanding obligations. Calculate and record the daily census. Process Medicaid enrollments and recertifications. Assist residents and families with SSI, SSD and VA benefit applications. Support the facility with resident trust activity for banking purposes and monitor resident funds for appropriateness. Record deposits. Keep proper and accurate records, as well as analyze data and implement solutions. Prepare classified reports as directed and maintain a confidential atmosphere. General office duties such as filing, data input, processing paperwork. Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent, Bachelors preferred
Knowledge of general office procedures Excellent time management and customer service skills Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a nursing home business or billing office Must be a team playerTracking
