Basic Qualifications:

• Specialized training in Link 16 operation and Link 16 Interface equipment

• Radar Operation Aircraft Control, Weapons Control, Surveillance experience and training

• Comfortable with secure voice and data communication protocols

• Experience coordinating and managing radio frequency for the Link 16 operation

• Familiar with airborne platform surveillance, communications and operation

• Familiar working hands on with Link 16 interface equipment including Encryption devices, Data Processing, Display Consoles, etc.

• Have familiarity with Data Terminal Sets (DTS), Ground Entry Station Radio and interface equipment.

• Knowledge of both hardware as well as software of Link 16 Interface system.

• Encryption devices, keying devices, and protocols working knowledge

• Comfortable working with equipment used for analysis such as Spectrum analyzers and Protocol analyzers

. Requirements:

• 6+ years’ experience required, 10+ year’s experience preferred

• Testing software at the support agency

• Analyzing and testing Army variant MIDS terminal

• Reviewing/generating Engineering Change Proposals (ECP’s), Problem Reports, and Investigations Requests

• Assisting with Problem Review Boards, Configuration Control Boards, and other international review boards
