Kenwood Terrace Care Center – We seek a Business Officer Manager for Kenwood Terrace Care Center a Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility. You will play an important role in managing the business office operations of the facility and will report directly to the facility Administrator and a Corporate Accounts Receivable Manager.

-Manage all business office functions for the facility.
-Coordinate with the Interdisciplinary Team members at the facility.
-Track and report facility daily census.
-As a member of facility Management Team, aid in the overall management and success of the facility.
-Either perform the billing for facility or work closely with facility billers insuring accurate, timely and comprehensive billing to all payors for resident care.
-Collections of all private pay accounts.
-Manage accounting and reporting of Resident Trust Fund accounts for facility residents.
-Verify benefits and obtain authorization to bill and collect for Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and third-party insurance company payors.
-Prepare periodic financial reports for facility.
-Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

-Minimum of two years’ experience as a Business Office Manager or a long-term care Biller/Collector for Medicare, Medicaid, Private Pay, Managed Care and Third-Party Insurance.
-Knowledge of PointClickCare is required, MyABILITY and Quadax is preferred.
-Excellent organizational and time management skills; interpersonal skills working with facility residents, family members, co-workers, and corporate staff.
-Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a desire to both lead and participate in process improvement efforts.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.Tracking
