Overview
Kelly Science and Clinical is currently seeking candidates for multiple Clinical Laboratory Technologist positions at a molecular diagnostics laboratory in Birmingham. The overall responsibility of the position is to perform high complexity laboratory testing procedures on blood, tissue, DNA, and RNA samples.**Responsibilities:**+ PCR analyses+ Next – Generation Sequencing (NGS)+ Quality Control of reagents used in the laboratory+ Instrument maintenance and validation+ Additional duties as needed**Qualifications:**+ Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related science+ Minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience+ Experience with PCR is required+ Experience with NGS is desired+ Effective communication skills+ Attention to detail+ Highly motivated+ Team player+ Willing to work flexible hoursThese are temporary assignments with the possibility of being hired by our customer. The work schedule is Tuesday – Saturday, noon – 8:30pm.
