Kelly Services is seeking experienced Production Technicians for a local customer in Charlottesville, Va. Direct Hire opportunity with a starting salary of $18-$20hr depending on Experience.   • Must have fine motor skills – high precision of putting this small part together is critical
  • Employee will be putting a small part together. They will be winding a small copper coil around a piece of plastic that has tiny grooves that the copper has to sit in. They will then solder and glue with a 2-part apoxy and paste it onto plastic. After completion, they repeat this process (for 8 hours, very repetitive).

Production Technician

Seeking a production technician to contribute to the rapid growth of our emerging medical device company. You will work within a talented team of professionals as we strive to achieve our mission of improving global human health. This role involves maintaining and operating manufacturing equipment and assembling small parts for product manufacturing. Fabrication of small parts includes milling, epoxying, and soldering.

Desired Education and Experience 1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. At least one year work experience in electronics including soldering 3. Intermediate or better computer skills Ability to follow test plans and work instructions

Preferred Education and Experience 1. Associate s degree in engineering or a related technical field 2. At least one year of work experience in Good Manufacturing Processes GMP or equivalent work in a regulated environment.
