As a JPMC Witness in Recovery Collections Litigation Support, you will be responsible for attending in-person and telephonic appearances to represent JPMC at litigation proceedings, including depositions, trials, mediations, arbitrations or other hearings. The JPMC Witness represents Chase and plays an integral role in a collections litigation case. Qualified candidates must possess excellent communication skills and react well under pressure. Qualified candidates must be able to work exceptionally well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that requires the utmost attention to detail and excellent time management and organizational skills.Responsibilities: Serve, in-person or telephonically, as a JPMC representative at litigation-related appearances such as depositions, trials, mediations, arbitrations, and other hearings Speak clearly, effectively, and confidently in high-pressure situations Exercise sound judgment, act with the utmost ethical integrity to protect our company and brand, clients and customers Make travel arrangements to appear in-person when required and adhere to travel expense budgets and expense reporting requirements Facilitate the preparation of materials needed for appearances, collaborating with the business and internal and external legal partners to establish clear responsibilities and deadlines Escalate case-related issues to management and the JPMC legal department in a timely manner Incorporate technical and functional knowledge to guide independent thought and action Adhere to the risk and control agenda for the department Meet performance standards for all aspects of the functional role Support business processes and work in a specialized function/role Ensure full compliance with JPMC policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations at all times Assist in the identification and escalation of system- and process-related issues and improvement opportunitiesQualifications: Bachelor’s Degree 3-5 years of business operations experience Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with an enjoyment of public speaking Outstanding conflict resolution and influencing skills Ability to present information in a clear, creative and persuasive manner Strong ability to maintain rapport with customers, attorneys, external law firms and colleagues within other departments Knowledge of and experience with litigation and legal processes preferred Knowledge of internal JPMC systems, such as ICP, C3 and DTS, a plus Proficient in organizational, time management, research and follow-up skills Strong PC skills (proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and Access) preferred Willingness and ability to travel frequently in order to attend in-person appearances Ability to work independently and in a team environment, balance creative problem-solving with concrete business needs, maintain a sense of urgency and execute quickly and efficiently Effectively and professionally represent yourself, your business, and JPMC with the highest of standardsChase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
