Position Overview

Under the direction of the Sr Director of Global Customer Service, the Business Analyst is someone who acts as a representative to lead and/or participate in projects to evaluate business processes, gather business needs/user requirements, document current state and future state processes, and performing user acceptance criteria as assigned in accordance with company policies and procedures. Duties include utilizing available resources and personnel to carry out the analysis to support the desired performance improvement and to determine the most useful business solutions for the company.

Responsibilities

•Evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.

•Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.

•Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.

•Documenting and effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.

•Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.

•Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.

•Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.

•Performing user acceptance testing.

•Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.

•Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures.

•Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.

•Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.

•Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.

•Other projects as assigned

. Requirements:

Qualifications

Education:

•A bachelor’s degree in business or related field is required

•An MBA is preferred

•Certifications are desired (e.g. Certificate of Competency in Business Analysis, Certified Business Analysis Professional)

•Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred

Experience:

•Three years of working experience in a related capacity is required

•Experience in Operations and Information Technology

•A history of leading and supporting successful projects

•Experience with or exposure to Lean Six Sigma is preferred

Other Requirements:

•Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

•Proven track record achieving key performance metrics

•Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills

•Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills

•Excellent documentation and communication skills

•Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations

•A track record of following through on time commitments

•Ability to work independently and with others
