Primary Location: United States (US)- Iowa – Johnston Function: Administrative / ClericalTitle: Senior Administrative Assistant- 70186 Your Responsibilities As a Senior Administrative Assistant at John Deere Financial (JDF) in Johnston, Iowa, you will provide administrative support to the Senior Vice President & Finance Director, and the Chief Risk Officer & Senior Vice President International Business. In additionyou will: Coordinate general office administration duties for the JDF accounting and finance organization Handle access to sensitive and confidential information Maintain files, records and databases Support for various internal and external board reporting including coordinating/developing materials, presentations & communications Manage the business calendars for the SVPs with authority to accept or decline appointments Coordinate meeting arrangements both internally and externally Collaborate travel arrangements with the company flight scheduler, travel representatives and other assistants internally and externally for the SVPs Collect, complete and submit all necessary documentation for expense reports for the SVPs for domestic and international travel Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position. What Skills You Need General understanding of the business operations in any function Keen ability to handle multiple projects and/or tasks and to prioritize work as things arise Very good interpersonal, communication, collaboration and conflict resolution skills High level of attention to detail and accuracy Critical capability to handle sensitive and confidential information Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Clerical expertise (examples: record retention, internal correspondence, document preparation, etc) Professional in an executive setting Ability to maintain multiple calendars and schedules What Makes You Stand Out Proficient skills in planning and organizing Participation/contributions within a team or with project work Organizing agendas and documenting meeting discussions/action planning Education (or equivalent work experience) Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Overall business knowledge No relocation benefits are available for this position.
