Overview:The Intake Coordinator works as a member of the Intake Team at Jasper Mountain Center, located in Jasper, Oregon, The Intake Coordinator receives, processes and tracks referral documentation, works with the Intake Team to identify the best fit for the program, and works to secure and maintain funding for children accepted into treatment. The Intake Coordinator also conducts the intake when a child enters the program, helping the child and their legal guardians get a tour of the facilities, answering their questions, and ensuring that all intake documentation is complete and signed.Referral Processing:Knowledge of Referral Requirements for Residential TreatmentReceive and Process Residential ReferralsPerform Initial Screening of Referrals and Eliminate Those Not Meeting Initial Age/IQ/Diagnostic RequirementsPerform Completeness Review and Matrix Assessment After Initial Screening Upload Complete Referral into Agency Server for Review by Director/Clinical Supervisor Communicate with Referral Sources both Verbally and in Writing Issue Acceptance and Denial Letters to Referral Sources Maintain Ongoing Referral Tracking Sheet Attend Weekly Transition Meetings, Distribute Referral Tracking Sheet, and Discuss Referrals with Transition Team. Intake Team Members are part of the Transition Team which includes other members not on Intake Team.Intake Process: (once a child who has been accepted into the program is preparing to come in):Work with Billing Specialist and Clinical Supervisor to Write Initial Clinical Reports to Secure FundingWrite Utilization Review Reports at the Required Frequency to Maintain Ongoing FundingConduct Intakes: Assist Child and Legal Guardian to get an Orientation and Tour, ensure intake documents completed and signed.Write Initial Service Assessment and Initial ISSP for newly entered residents.Required Education & Skills:Ease and facility with Microsoft Office software, Excel, and Adobe OfficeMasters Degree in a Mental Health-Related Field. Preferred, but not requiredExperience writing clinical reports, and gathering relevant history,Experience with computers and some skill with EXCEL spreadsheetsStrong writing skills and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skillsKnowledge of mental health funding requirements preferredJob Type: Full-timePay: $18.76 – $22.00 per hourTracking
