A candidate who strongly showcases these characteristics will be considered for the role of administrative assistant/health equity coordinator for The Human Milk Banking Association of America (HMBANA).Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct administrative support to the Executive Director (ED)Schedule meetings and coordinate travelCreate surveys/run reportsEnsure timely completion of projects Support the Donor Milk Access and Health Equity Task Force, a group of national and local stakeholders charged with creating a roadmap to equitable donor milk accessField inquiries from members and the public via phone and email Lead social media efforts, make routine website updates, maintain marketing databaseAssist the ED and conference chair in planning and executing one in-person meeting per year with ~200 attendees (travel to the meeting is optional and paid for by HMBANA) Take notes/minutes for board, committee, and task force meetingsQualificationsOutstanding communication skills, particularly in writingExemplary planning and time management skills with strict attention to detail Proven experience with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, PowerPoint, and ExcelExperience in marketing — developing social media content and website updatesGenuine commitment to addressing systemic issues that create barriers to access donor milkProactive and willing to take ownership of projects Ability to use good judgment and exercise discretionAt least three years administrative experience Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not requiredDetailsThis contract position pays $23 – $25 per hour (compensation based on experience) with an average of 35 hours per week. This is a 100% virtual position; only candidates in the Greater Philadelphia area will be considered due to proximity to the Executive Director. A laptop will be provided.
