Administrative Assistant – Part-time / Remote!
Administrative support needed for Community Nutrition Education and Physical Activity programs in Los Angeles, CA. This is a part-time, contract position at a prestigious hospital. The pay rate is up to $15.50/hour. Start ASAP!
Schedule: 20-24 hours/week 2 full days + a half day or 3 full days/week
* Due to current COVID-19 pandemic, in person office work is limited to 1-2 days a week and the other days are fully remote.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Answer phones, Compose letters, policy statements, reports etc
Organize complex statistical and narrative reports, charts and exhibits into a complete document for publication and distribution
Proofread and edit material and ensure correct punctuation, spelling and grammar
Perform simple mathematical calculations
Independently establish administrative and office procedures
Identify problems and uses resourcefulness and excellent judgement to resolve them independently and on own initiative
Utilize Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Suite products including the ability for word processing, spreadsheets, presentation development, e-mail, browsers and on-line reporting
Frequently multitasks with short time-lines
Prioritize and organize workload, track program inventory, and complete assignments in a timely, accurate manner
Demonstrates excellent professionalism, customer service and communication skills
Additional duties as assigned
Authorized to work in the U.S.
2+ years’ administrative support experience
Bachelor’ s degree
Ability to type proficiently (60-75 wpm)
Possess minimum computer competency comprised of a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft suite products with the ability for word processing, spreadsheets, presentation development, e-mail, browsers and on-line reporting
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking
